Five sports center in the country will open their doors to participants in the “Sharjah Virtual Rowing” event, which will start next Sunday and continue until the 5th of next September, organized by the Sharjah Sports Council in cooperation with the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club and Al Qudra Sports Services Company, as part of the Council’s virtual initiatives and activities during the period in the current framework, and in the framework of partnership and cooperation with sports centers and gyms in the country, to benefit from these halls in everything related to the activities and events of the Council, and to encourage all groups of society to practice sports and make it a way of life.

Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, Director of Sports and Community Events Department, said: In the context of ensuring the success of the Sharjah virtual rowing event, and after a number of positive discussions during the previous period, coordination and cooperation with a number of sports halls have been made to include this activity in their daily hall activities and make use of the equipment available in these Lounges, whether in the emirate of Sharjah or in the different Emirates, and the opportunity for those wishing to participate in this event and register their participation.
We thank the sports halls that have agreed to open their doors to the participants in the council’s event, which are the EH Center, Olympia, the Grand Hall in the Emirate of Sharjah and the Fitness Hall Sports in Ras Al-Khaimah and Power Fit Gym in the Emirate of Dubai.
He added: All those wishing to participate in this event and do not have devices for rowing in their homes can register through the event website www.eevents.ae/rowing and then go to one of these halls and train for free and photograph the device screen to show the time or distance covered is 3000 meters Or 30 minutes on the internal rowing machine and upload his personal data and photo on the results page after receiving the link no later than Saturday the 5th of September 2020.
