The Digital Media and Communication Committee of Sharjah International Marine Sports Club held its first meeting chaired by Mohammed Ahmed Al Kamali, member of the club’s board of directors and chairman of the committee, and in the presence of Ahmed Al Hosani, Executive Director of the club, and members Hussein Ali Abdullah, Omar Suleiman Shaheen, and Muhammad Ramadan, next to Dr. Muhammad Abdulazim, the planning consultant Strategic and institutional excellence at the club, and Heba Shalaby, Executive Secretary (meeting rapporteur).
Al Kamali was keen to introduce the committee members to each other as a way of getting to know each other, stressing his great confidence in their ability to make the committee’s role successful, especially all of them possessing sufficient experience in the field of communication and digital media, through their jobs and work in various institutions and bodies, and through their media duties in a number of sports clubs By the state.
During the meeting, Al Kamali was keen to convey the greetings and wishes of Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, and all his colleagues, members of the Board of Directors, to the members of the Club’s Communication and Digital Media Committee, wishing success to the committee on which the Board of Directors relies on broad hopes during the next stage.
After that, Dr. Mohamed Abdelazim reviewed the meeting’s agenda, which included many important matters related to the role of the media and its great influence in showing the club’s successes, and promoting all activities and events organized by the club throughout the season.
It also reviewed the main tasks of the committee, and all the specializations set by the board of directors, which it aspires to achieve and reach, through all means of digital communication and all traditional media.
During the committee’s first meeting, Dr. Mohamed Abdelazim reviewed the decree of establishing the club, and defined the committee’s terms of reference, future plans and some assignments received from the Board of Directors. The meeting also discussed the members ’plans and ideas for the media field.
