The Strategy and Institutional Excellence Committee of the Sharjah International Marine Club held its first meeting at the club’s headquarters at the Sharjah Corniche headed by Hamid Khalfan Saeed Al Kindi, Chairman of the Committee and a member of the Club’s Board of Directors, and in the presence of Ahmed Al Hosani, Executive Director of the club and the members Abdullah Yaqoub Al Suwaidi, Ahmed Sultan Al Hassani, Hassan Wafiq Abdullah.
Al Kindi welcomed the members of the committee at the beginning of the meeting and conveyed his greetings and those of his colleagues, members of the committee to Khaled Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club, and to his colleagues members of the Board of Directors, wishing that the committee would achieve the desired goals, and he also hoped that it would contribute to achieving the desired successes, which benefits the name of the club and the aspirations of its board of directors.
After that, the committee’s rapporteur reviewed the meeting’s agenda, which included many important matters related to the role and specializations of the Strategy and Institutional Excellence Commission in achieving success, distinction and advancement in the club’s performance in all sports, technical, administrative and marketing aspects in a manner befitting its management approach and the aspirations of the Sharjah Sports Council.
The committee also discussed in its first meeting the decree to establish the club, and defined the committee’s terms of reference. Some of the assignments received from the board of directors of the committee and its role were presented and discussed, and future plans and projects for them were discussed. The club’s plan was also presented on how to obtain ISO certificates as an added value to the name of the club and the board.
