The second round of the UAE Wakeboard Championship, organized by the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, was concluded at Al Khan Beach Corniche in Sharjah, with great participation that included the stars of this exciting and fun sport.

The competitions took place in two categories. The first category, the open competition category, and it resulted in Amir Saeed Al Muhairi winning first place, followed by Khaled Matar Al Ali, then Rashid Ahmed Al Muhairi.

As for the second category, which is the junior category, it resulted in Ahmed Badr Al Hashimi winning the first place, followed by Sultan Muhammad Al Marzouki in second place, and Saif Matar Al Ali came in third place.

The top three in each category were honored by the officials of the Sharjah International Marine Club: Mohammed Al Kamali, a member of the club’s board of directors, and Ahmed Al Hosani, the Executive Director and Salem Al Rumaithi, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, who followed the competition and the oarticipation of his club’s players in the event.

In addition to the distinguished presence of supervisors and young crews in the marine sports clubs in the country, and the organizing officials of the Sharjah Maritime Club.
Mohammad Al Kamali, a member of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, praised the success of the event and the participation in it by fans of the water skiing sport known as the “Wakeboard”.
He said, “Although it is one of the modern water championships for us as an Emirati society, it was distinctive and exciting and attracted the attention of everyone who followed the competition from Al Khan Corniche in Sharjah.”
