Based on the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, Sharjah International Marine Sports Club aims to enhance the emirate’s position locally and internationally as a destination for practicing marine sports and encourage its practice among the various groups of the people of the emirate and spread its cultures and support initiatives to develop it.

Marine sports are important to the heritage of the Emirate of Shajrah and the Emirate memory, as they are the core of secrets of the ancestral relationship with the sea and the base of their commercial and tourist activities. We work in Sharjah International Marine Sports Club to implement plans and programs that contribute to inspiring local heritage, stimulation youth energy, attract talents, sponsor and support them to practice marine sports.

Those who followed the club since the beginning are aware of its efforts and intention to translate its aspirations derived from the strategy of the Emirate of Sharjah that aims to establish its presence on the global sports map by participating in international forums, hosting major international sporting events and establishing sports team that translate the club’s path towards success.

The club recently launched the Sharjah Formula Team to represent Sharjah in international championship races, leading to the establishment of an integrated national team during the first three years that are capable of contesting in global competitions and reach achievements which comes in response to the history of the Emirate of Sharjah, which is rich in organizing the world championship of speedboat racing F1, which has contributed effectively to promote competition in this sport and attract champions from different countries of the world.

We affirm that Sharjah International Marine Sports Club has in its possession many development programs and plans in which it continues its vision, and we are keen to strengthen relations with various local and international related clubs and institutions and establish events and activities that support our visions and achieve our goals in attracting experiences and improving performance to achieve the desired accomplishments.
