Sharjah International Marine Sports Club organized a press conference to launch the Sharjah Diving Team, which is scheduled to represent the club in all upcoming local and international diving events.
This was announced by HE KhalId Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Club, in the presence of HE Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, and Team Leader KhalId Ahmed Al Ghroubti, Director of Dive Instructors Abdulrahman Al Amiri as well as members of the club’s board of directors, and members of the Sharjah Diving Team.
The conference included a distinguished gallery exhibition for the diving team, which showed the extent of excellence and expertise of the team in photographing the seabed and the oceans.
HE Al Midfa confirmed that the team is an important new addition to the club’s teams as a specialized team. While HE Essa Hilal blessed the important step for the club, which was established six years ago, and affirmed that the Sharjah Sports Council would continue to support the club, and all the specific sports that are not officially practiced in the emirate’s clubs.
As for Captain Ahmed Al Ghroubti, he affirmed his gratitude to his teammates for officially joining the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, considering wearing the club’s uniform and representing it in all local and international events and events, which will contribute to the development of the team and the advancement of all its activities in a manner befitting the name and statue of the Emirate of Sharjah.
Captain Abdulrahman Al Amiri, Director of Diving Training Courses, promised to work with the club’s management to create a generation of distinguished divers to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the club and the emirate.
