In conjunction with the “Zayed Humanitarian Day”, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan, the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club launched a community initiative to distribute Iftar meals to fasting members of the public and taxi drivers in Sharjah, in the presence of Hamid Al Kindi, Board Member, and Ahmed Al Hosani,
General Manager of the club.

Hamid Al Kindi, a member of the club’s board of directors, stressed that the “Zayed Humanitarian Day” embodies
the path of giving and the approach established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, thanks to which
the UAE has become an icon of giving and generosity.
Al Kindi said: “On this day, the noble values adopted by the UAE society are embodied and laid down by the late
Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, stressing that the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club is committed to
this approach by keeping in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi,
Ruler of Sharjah.
