The “Sharjah Virtual Rowing” event will be launched today (Sunday), organized by the Sharjah Sports Council in cooperation with the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club and Al Qudra Sports Services Company.
For his part, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, said in a press statement: “The event has so far witnessed the participation of nearly 100 participants of both sexes, as it comes as a new community sports initiative from the Council to urge and encourage everyone to practice sports and emphasize its importance in everyone in the community ».
He added: “We are looking forward to wide participation from inside and outside the country, as registration for the event continues until September 4th on the website www.eevents.ae/ rowing with compliance to the conditions, including photographing the device’s screen to show the time or distance traveled 3000 meters or 30 minutes on the internal rowing device and uploading personal data and a photo on the page dedicated to the results, after receiving the special link no later than Saturday September 5th, which is the deadline for the curtain to drop on the event in which each participant will receive a medal and a certificate, whether from inside the country or outside of it ».
