Under the slogan «Live the Sea Life», the marine summer camp organized by the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, in cooperation with the Sharjah Sports Council in Dibba Al-Hisn, begins today for ages from five to 16 years old, and will continue until the fifth of next July. The Sharjah Marine Sports Club, headed by HE Ali Salem Al Midfa, monitored all the capabilities available for the success of the first edition of the summer camp that Dibba Al-Hisn is witnessing for the first time, which was approved to be one of the activities that the club organizes throughout the season, next to the marine summer camp in the city of Sharjah, which will be held for the second year of this season from 10 to 16 July next in the Al-Khan Beach in Sharjah.
The Board of Directors of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club monitored a set of constructive goals, which it sought to achieve by organizing a summer camp in both Dibba Al-Hisn and Sharjah, which is considered the first of its kind at the level of the emirate, and was devoted to marine sports, with the aim of enhancing the club’s societal role and providing opportunities practicing recreational marine sports, and spreading the spirit of loyalty, belonging and patriotism among children and young people through practicing marine activities, discovering the talents of children and youth, developing their performance, and investing leisure time during the summer, in a way that benefits them, their families and society.
The club’s executive management, under the leadership of Ahmed Al Hosani, adopted a program full of various marine activities for Dibba Al-Hisn camp, to be practiced over two hours a day, specifically from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, interspersed with “courses” of practice and education for water bikes, rowing, kayaking, marine scouts, and fishing, in addition to activities Varied recreational freedom to give an atmosphere of joy to all participants in the camp
